1. Process flow
The process flow of aluminum alloy die casting mainly includes:
(1) Designing molds: The aluminum alloy die casting process requires that the shape and size of the castings produced meet the industrial standard (GB/T1804-2000), so designing molds is the first step. The design of molds should be based on actual needs, focusing on complete design and simple structure to ensure that the mold can achieve correct and accurate casting.
(2) Making molds: After completing the mold design, mold making is carried out according to the design drawing. Generally, the working precision of the mold is very high. Once there is a deviation, it will seriously affect the casting. In the mold making process, strict process requirements should be matched with the actual situation. Before making, process planning and production requirements are required to match parameters. Necessary quantitative management measures are prerequisites for ensuring the stability of the dimensional accuracy of the aluminum alloy parts entering the mold.
(3) Equipping molds and adjusting parameters: The manufactured molds need to be installed on specific casting equipment for casting, and then the parameters of the equipment are adjusted. This can ensure the highest precision of the aluminum alloy parts completed during the casting process.
(4) Aluminum alloy material preparation: Before casting, aluminum alloy materials that meet the requirements need to be prepared. Commonly used ones include ADC12, A380, etc.

(9) Inspection: The aluminum alloy die castings are inspected. The inspection content includes dimensional accuracy, appearance quality, defects, etc. After passing the inspection, it can be determined whether the aluminum alloy die castings are qualified.
